How to Bid: A Step-by-Step Guide
1. Introduction
Bidding online works just like bidding in a physical auction room, but with the convenience of taking part from your phone, tablet, or computer.
Our platform features real-time bidding. You never need to refresh the page the system automatically updates every few seconds to show the latest bids as they happen, so you always know exactly where you stand.
If you're new to online auctions, here is how to get started:
2. Find Your Lots
Finding the items you're interested in is easy:
-
Search: Use the search bar located just below the main menu. Enter keywords related to the item and click Search.
-
Filter:
To narrow your results, select a specific category from the drop-down menu next to the search box.
3. Register to Bid
Before you can place a bid, you need to register. This allows us to verify your details and confirm you accept our terms and conditions. Once your registration is approved, you are ready to take part!
4. Place Your Bids
Our platform runs as a forward auction: each lot starts at an opening price, and bidders place offers in increments above the current bid. The highest bid at the end wins. You can bid in two ways:
-
Manual Bidding:
- Click the Bid button to place the next available increment.
- Press Confirm to submit your bid. (Note: You can also manually
type in a higher amount, as long as it meets the minimum required
increment).
- Click the Bid button to place the next available increment.
-
Auto Bidding:
Set the maximum amount you are willing to pay, and let the system do the work for you.We will automatically place bids on your behalf using the smallest possible increments, keeping you in the lead until your maximum limit is reached.
5. Track Your Progress
If you want to focus only on the lots you are actively bidding on, head to the History section. This dashboard updates in real-time, letting you track your selected items in one place so you instantly know if you are currently winning or losing.
6. Have I Won?
When an auction ends, simply check your History page for your results. The live bidding panel for finished lots will be replaced with a clear, instant summary: a green "Won" or a red "Lost."
